Southeast Asia M&A Deals
Triton Holding Public Company Limited, a Thailand-based company specializing in engineering and construction, has signed an agreement to acquire a 99.99% stake in TAECHAUBOL ESTATE, a Thailand-based company that operates rubber and palm oil plantations, from Baan Rai Taechaubol Holding Company Limited for USD 41.6 million. Triton Holding PCL will finance the acquisition by issuing ordinary shares valued at the transaction amount.

South Korea’s Sae-A Trading Co., Ltd. has signed an agreement to acquire a 70% stake in WIN TEXTILE, an Indonesian textile manufacturing company, from Global Sae-A Co., Ltd., an affiliated company, for approximately USD 135 million. This transaction is expected to complete by November 15, 2024.

YY Group Holding, a Singaporean data and technology-driven provider of hotel and hospitality staffing and commercial cleaning services, has acquired a 54% stake in MEDIAPLUS VENTURE GROUP, a Singaporean web design company, for USD 1 million, valuing the company at nearly USD 2 million.

SPRUSON & FERGUSON (ASIA), a Singapore-based intellectual property firm providing representation in all aspects of patents, designs and trademarks, recorded a revenue of USD 66.2 million in revenue for the FY ending in June 2023, a 9year-on-year growth.

MEGGITT AEROSPACE ASIA PACIFIC, Meggitt Ltd’s subsidiary in Singapore that operates in the Asia Pacific region, reached a revenue of USD 115.5 million for the FY ending in June 2023, a 61% year-on-year growth.
